Ridge Re-Pointing
What is ridge re-pointing and how to know if your roof needs it:
Repointing is a term used for resealing the ridge capping mortar when the existing mortar is cracking out allowing water penetration. While conducting a visual inspection from the ground, cracks or gaps in the pointing along your ridge capping will be the easiest way to tell that your roof needs re-pointing.
